I have meant to write a review or write a thank you letter to Dr. Michael Crovetti and the entire staff at Crovetti Orthopaedics and Coronado Recovery Suites for quite some time.
Dr. Crovetti did my first hip surgery on September 25, 2019, and my second hip surgery on February 19, 2020. At my first consultation visit in late August 2019, Dr. Crovetti determined that my right hip needed to be replaced first since I was in so much pain and had difficulty walking. Since the beginning of July, I had been in extreme pain since July and couldn’t enjoy a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado, as I couldn’t even walk up the steps at Red Rocks and needed assistance. Dr. Crovetti took X-Rays and explained my situation in detail and took the time to answer my questions thoroughly.
At the Surgical Center, the staff was pleasant, kind, put my mind at ease, and took good care of me. Pre-surgery, Dr. Crovetti put my mind at ease and made me feel like I was in excellent hands, which I was. He has a great bedside manner! At the Recovery Suites, the staff and nurses went beyond to make me feel safe and well cared for. The food for breakfast and lunch from Fury’s Kitchen was excellent as well!
My first hip surgery recovery was a little rocky as I was still in a lot of pain nearly two months out. Dr. Crovetti found out I had issues in my lower back that needed to be taken care of before having my left hip replaced, which I needed to have done. Dr. Crovetti and his staff helped me through that difficult time with patience and understanding. It was my first time at this rodeo, but not them! I ended up seeing Dr. Kucera, who was also great and made me feel like I was in excellent hands. He explained the lower spinal cord steroid inject procedure thoroughly – I chose to have the procedure done on New Year’s Eve as I wanted to start 2020 feeling good and make 2020 the year that I was healthy again. The procedure worked, and Dr. Crovetti did my left hip in February 2020. Thank you, Dr. Kucera, for making my lower back feel so much better without depending on pain pills.
Again, the staff at the Surgical Center and Recovery Suites rocked! Before leaving the Recovery Suites, I started my physical therapy. I immediately felt that I was walking normally for the first time – no pain, no popping, no tilt – I was walking evenly for the first time! I don’t know when the last time I felt this way! Dr. Crovetti gave me a new lease on life! I can’t begin to thank him enough! Even with Covid-19, I am back to taking long walks, doing the stationary bike, exercising, and once it is safe to travel- go back to see my granddaughter and be active with her.
Crovetti Orthopaedics has a great team of doctors – they ROCK! I am so glad that I chose Crovetti Orthopaedics – if and when it is time to have a knee replaced, I will be back to see Dr. Crovetti! When I have lower back pain issues again, I will go back to see Dr. Kucera also.
I will be recommending Crovetti Orthopaedics to friends and family when they have hip, knee and shoulder issues.
