Dr. Mike Crovetti was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. He pursued his undergraduate work at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. As quarterback of Albright’s football team for four years, his college football injuries sparked the interest in the Orthopedic career he has now chosen.
From college, he attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His internship was completed at the same University. He left New Jersey to complete an Orthopedic Residency in Dayton, Ohio. Following residency, Dr. Crovetti completed an additional year of training, called a fellowship, specifically in Adult Reconstruction of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder. His practice today focuses on Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine procedures of the Hip and Knee. He has extensive experience in complex surgeries of these areas.
Finally, Dr. Crovetti moved to practice orthopedics in Las Vegas. In 2000, he founded Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. One of his priorities was to give his patients an out of hospital experience in a state of the art surgical facility… and that goal has been achieved with the opening of the Coronado Surgery Center and Queensridge Surgery Center – as well as the the Coronado Surgical Recovery Suites and Queensridge Surgical Recovery Suites. He continues to develop innovative surgical instrumentation and devices in his daily practice as one of the states top hip and knee replacement surgeons. Grateful for the education he has received, he’s now dedicated his career to training surgeons in Las Vegas and Henderson and has added some of the brightest and most talented doctors and surgeons to his practice, making Crovetti Orthopaedics the leader in orthopaedic care in Nevada.
Dr. Crovetti is a resident of Henderson, Nevada. He enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities including boating, snowboarding, golf, etc… The remainder of his time is spent relaxing with his wife as they enjoy the life of empty nesters and celebrate the lives of their three children.
