Rally Recovery – Post Surgery Day 16

Welcome to day 16 of knee replacement surgery. Despite the pain, despite how hard you’re working, know everything is normal. You’re probably not sleeping great, you’re probably tender, it hurts to get up and walk. You might start to get yourself off the walker. If you feel safe, you may have already transitioned to a cane or to some other device to help you ambulate. Either way, you’re about a week away from coming to see me so work hard to get that knee bent and that knee straight and do something fun today. Do something fun every day, but after knee replacement you’ve been sitting around. Get your head back in the game, hang around with some friends, and welcome and congratulations on day 16.
