What do I do if my knees are clicking?

Following knee replacement surgery, patients are often concerned about clicking or popping in their knee. Please remember part of your knee is metal and part is plastic. As your knee cap moves back and forth as you walk, get up from a chair, or walk up and down stairs, this plastic is going to make a noise in the metal groove it rides in. This is very normal and frankly expected after surgery.
