I was actually referred to Crovetti Orthopaedics, I had no reason to like or dislike him, but I was at the point where I was non-mobile. I couldn’t walk without pain; I couldn’t sleep without pain. I couldn’t do anything without pain. This is not a recent thing. It’s been going on for years and years and years.
So finally, I was referred to Dr. Sandeep Pandit and he basically laid out the procedure to me and told me that if my hip was a steel belted radial tire, the rubber was gone, and all but two of the steel belts were gone. So I needed to have it fixed. I came in, and the check-in procedure was super simple.
The staff here is amazing. They are probably the best in the area, in my opinion. Dr. Pandit answered all my questions. There was never any doubt about what was going on at any time. The day of the surgery, I rolled in, apprehensive, of course, about scared to death, but it was not a big deal. Put me on the table, I woke up in the recovery room and walked to the Coronado Surgical Recovery Suites, which is another amazing part of the Crovetti Orthopaedics.
The recovery suites are just super. My wife was able to have meals with me, did my walking up and down the hall, the staff was super attentive, super fun to be around, and the next day at ten o’clock, I was out the door. Now, what can I do? I can do everything! I can hike again. I can ride my motorcycles again. I have no pain. It’s like a new me.
