I like to bike, and I am an avid cyclist at the gym. One day one of my partners did not show up, and I asked, ‘Where is Cathy?’ and they said ‘Cathy, she’s not here.’ Finally, Cathy came, and I said, ‘Cathy, where have you been?’ Cathy said, ‘I had hip surgery.’ I said, ‘Wow, I have to have hip surgery also.’ She said, ‘I have the perfect doctor for you! The perfect doctor! You have to go see Dr. Crovetti.’ I said, ‘Dr. Crovetti? I never heard of him.’ Cathy said, ‘You have to go see him!’ I said ok. I made the appointment to see Dr. Crovetti; oh my god, he was the best doctor I have met. He is personable, he’s smart, I like his smile, and he told me exactly what I needed to do; that was several years ago.
When I met with him and we did the surgery, and I was really impressed with the Coronado Surgical Recovery Suites. The staff were warm and comfortable, they fed me, and I really enjoyed being a patient there.
A couple of years later, I came back to Dr. Crovetti, and he said, ‘Welcome back, Zuella!’ I said to him, ‘I’m back because you did tell me down the line, sometime, I would have to have another replacement. So, I’m back!’
He explained to me exactly what he was doing. I had surgery this past August; I can ride, I can walk, I can do all the things that I really have not been able to do. I recently retired, and that gives me more time to utilize the gym. The one thing I really was impressed with when I met Dr. Crovetti was that he was so outspoken and outgoing, and I just felt comfortable with him. I don’t know if it’s an east coast thing or not, but I really felt comfortable with him. He explained to me what he was going to do again, and I returned to the Coronado Surgical Recovery Suites; and again, the staff was wonderful, but I do need to give kudos to Fury’s Kitchen. The food was outstanding! So, if I have to come back again next year, Dr. Crovetti will see me again. Definitely!
