What time will my surgery be? Can I have an early time?

A lot of patients ask us what time they will have surgery. Let’s face it, no one wants to have it at the end of the afternoon. A lot of times you haven’t eaten since midnight, or drank since midnight, so everybody wants his or her surgery early. We try to operate on the older or sicker patients in the morning. For example, diabetics. It is important that they have their medication and that their diet is followed more closely. Please try and understand that when we schedule your surgery.
